Evolve Assessments and Diagnostics

Scope of Services

Evolve Assessments and Diagnostics Inc provides independent evaluation services in all provinces and territories of Canada. Evaluations may be conducted in dedicated clinical settings owned by Evolve, in private practice settings owned by contracted evaluators, community settings, in the homes of persons served, or at the workplaces of persons served. Independent Evaluation Services are available to children (ages 0-5: no people served in 2020); adolescents (ages 6-17: ten people served in 2020); and adults (ages 18-86+: 757 people served in 2020). The hours of service varies depending on the geographical region and time zone of the assessment site. However, evaluations are generally offered between the hours of 8am and 5pm, Monday to Friday. Evolve is capable of providing evaluations on weekends and after 5pm in situations where this meets the individual needs of persons served. Payer sources includes automobile insurance carriers, life and health insurance carriers, employers, public agencies, and private out-of-pocket clientele. Fees for evaluations vary depending on the clinical discipline under which the assessment is being provided, the provincial/regulatory guidelines which dictate fee structures, and other factors including additional travel, translation, and/or higher volume documentation review. Evolve Assessments and Diagnostics Inc recognizes the importance of providing evaluation services in all clinical disciplines with the ability to accommodate for any activity limitations and/or restrictions, impairments, behavioural/emotional/psychological conditions or impairments. Attention is also paid to the cultural sensitivities of persons served with the commitment to providing evaluation services in all disciplines by both males and females. Potential language barriers between persons served and evaluators are minimized by having assessors on Evolveā€™s roster that speak languages other than English and through the use of translation companies in all geographic areas.
